The latest round of NPD Tasman Trophy division one rugby was overshadowed by the on-field, cardiac arrest of Waitohi prop Bevan Moody in his side's match against Nelson at Neale Park on Saturday.

CEO Chat with Tony Lewis

It is with a sadness that I acknowledge an incident in our Senior division 1 contest last Saturday that has left young Bevan Moody in an induced coma in Nelson Hospital. He suffered cardiac arrest in the second half of a match between his club Waitohi and Nelson club. He was treated by a medical team and was then transferred to Nelson Hospital.
