UC Championship Round 12 Wrap

The Nelson College 1st XV has bounced back from losing the Moascar Cup last week with an emphatic 38-0 win over Lincoln Combined. Marlborough Boys’ College earned themselves a shot at place in the second tier of the UC Championship play-offs with a 34-22 win over Roncalli Combined. Waimea Combined Schools lost 25-12 when they hosted Timaru Boy’s High School in their last home game of the season on Saturday.

Nelson city street party for All Blacks Test day

The central city will be closed on September 8 for a huge street party as Nelson plays host to its first ever All Blacks test match. From 1pm to 5.30pm, Nelson will become a place to treat the family to a taste of Kiwi and Argentinian culture, local artisan food, history, entertainment and a dedicated family area.
