Tasman Rugby in partnership with Armageddon Paintball are rewarding fair play and sportsmanship in Age-Grade Rugby (U14, U15, U16, U18, & Secondary School Girls). This positive initiative aims to encourage teams to play in the ‘spirit of the game’ based on the Tasman Community Rugby values.
How it works:
At the completion of each game the referee will rate each team based on four categories:
- Player behaviour
- Coach/manager behaviour
- Supporter’s behaviour
- Field set up
Each category will be rated out of 5 points (Poor = 1 point, Excellent = 5 points – Total 20 points). Tasman Rugby will collate the scores each week and share the results via the ‘Tasman Rugby Union’ Facebook page. At the completion of the season, the teams in each grade with the highest average score will win the REWARD.
Reward:
Thanks to the support of Armageddon, the winning team of each grade will have the ultimate paintball experience with a whopping 100 free paintballs, this will be followed with a ‘post-match’ snack at Armageddon cafe. Those teams coming in at a close second will also get a great day out with 50 free paintballs.
