Round 7 of the E’stel Tasman Trophy will take place this Saturday 27 of April at 3pm. Nelson will receive Waitohi on Neale Park while Stoke will be hosting East Coast on Greenmeadows for the first time this season. Wanderers versus Renwick on Brightwater Domain, Waimea Old Boys versus Moutere on Jubilee Park and Marist versus Central on Tahunanui are the other matches of this sixth round. The two top teams in the E’stel Tasman Trophy continued their unbeatable run. With 5 wins with bonuses in as many matches for Marist and 6 wins in 6 matches for Waimea Old Boys. In the Marist - Nelson derby the greens and blacks defeated a great team of Nelson 38 - 17. While Waimea Old Boys beat the Wanderers 29-19.
In the other matches of this Easter weekend, East Coast won by a short head against Renwick 34-32. At Lansdowne Park the home team Central went down 05-28 against Waitohi, and in a very close match, Kahurangi beat stoke 06-03.
