More stands ordered for All Blacks Test in Nelson

To successfully host the first ever All Blacks Test in Nelson, and to provide a memorable experience for a crowd of over 21,000 fans, stands totalling an additional 14,000 seats have been ordered from Auckland to arrive in Nelson in May.

The move of this hefty cargo across 28 containers would not be possible without the sponsorship of ANL and Pacifica shipping lines and the superb assistance of Port Nelson.

The stands are being brought in to Nelson by Australia National Line (ANL). ANL is a global carrier headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, providing shipping services worldwide. A member of the CMA CGM Group, the award-winning shipping line offers customers all over the world a proactive, innovative service which reconciles quality and high performance with protection of the environment.

ANL’s two direct Nelson calls every week offer importers and exporters throughout the Nelson and Marlborough region fast and reliable links to the world. Our large container fleet caters for all types of cargo and includes the latest high tech and high efficiency eco-friendly refrigerated units.

The stands will be returned to Auckland thanks to Pacifica shipping, a member of the China Navigation Company.
