The best player in this season’s NPD Tasman Trophy will now pick up the NPD Tasman Trophy Player of the Year Medallion.
The Player of the Year award will be determined by a season-points system, with the Match Officials picking their players of the match awarding three points, two points and one point for the game’s top performers.
The prize will include a $250 fuel credit on an NPD Club Card account as well as a high-quality NPD branded bush shirt and beanie.
Each week, a list will be published with the results of the system from each game, as well as a running total throughout the season. As the season approaches the end, the leader board will be removed from social media and the web, (to add to the anticipation) and the winner will be announced at the end of the competition.
