SENIOR COMPETITION REVIEWS

After several upsets over the Easter weekend in the NPD Tasman Trophy there are seven (7) teams within a match of a place in the final series, added to the mix is a Central team finding some form in the last two matches.

Nelson club showed both flair and indiscretion in their 55 – 7 win over Kahurangi, scoring nine tries to one but also conceding three yellow cards. Stoke battled hard all day against Marist, finally succumbing 23 – 29 in an entertaining game, while Waimea Old Boys accounted for Wanderers 39 – 28.

Senior Competition Reviews

In Marlborough, Renwick underlined the fact they will be a threat in this season's NPD Tasman Trophy and Marlborough premier rugby competitions with a 45-13 win over defending local champions Central on Saturday. Moutere accounted for East Coast 39-15 and Waitohi got the better of Harlequins 39-21.
