2018 Mitre 10 Cup draw announced

The Mighty Mako will play five home games - two in Blenheim – Canterbury then Southland, then the First Ever All Blacks Test in our region, followed by three matches in Nelson – Taranaki, Counties Manukau & Hawkes Bay.

Blenheim's Wayne Young to Chair TRU Board

Blenheim businessman Wayne Young is the new chairman of the Tasman Rugby Union.
Forty eight-year-old Young, who has sat on the Tasman board for the past six years, replaces Ken Beams who as stepped down from the chairman’s role, but will remain on the board as deputy chairman.

Harlequins pull out of Marlborough Premier rugby

For the first time since the club’s inception in 1994, there will be no Harlequins team in premier rugby ranks this season. The Quins have decided not to field a premier team in either the Marlborough sub-union competition or Tasman Trophy competition. They will enter a side in the division two competition.

12 Tasman players named in 2018 Crusaders Knights squad
