Both Waitohi and East Coast will want to consolidate their positions in the top 4 against Moutere and Central away. Kahurangi, fresh off the bye will be looking to stay in touch with the leaders when hosting Nelson.

E’stel Tasman Trophy -Rd 7 fixtures & Rd 6 results

Round 7 of the E’stel Tasman Trophy will take place this Saturday 27 of April at 3pm. Nelson will receive Waitohi on Neale Park while Stoke will be hosting East Coast on Greenmeadows for the first time this season. Wanderers versus Renwick on Brightwater Domain, Waimea Old Boys versus Moutere on Jubilee Park and Marist versus Central on Tahunanui are the other matches of this sixth round. The TRU Board nominated Max Spence to be the NZ Rugby’s Vice President at their AGM on Thursday 17 April. The nomination was supported by all South Island Provincial Unions and he was unanimously elected.
Max, a Tasman and Nelson rugby stalwart and the man credited with bringing the Mako to life is now one of New Zealand's highest-ranking rugby officers.
