Proudly Supporting Tasman Rugby

With 2 regular season rounds of the E’stel Tasman Trophy remaining, the fight remains on for clubs to earn a place in the semi-finals. Marist and Waimea look assured of places. The match at Brightwater is important for both clubs, Wanderers to consolidate third spot and Kahurangi to stay in touch with the top 4. Waitohi will be desperate for a win to remain in fourth spot, while it’s a must-win encounter for Nelson if they want to be playing in June.

An under-strength Marist side has proven why it remains unbeaten in 2019 with an impressive 34-25 win over Waitohi in the E'stel Tasman Trophy to move to the top of the ladder. Despite losing three front-line forwards last week, Marist showed it has enough depth in the ranks to survive a late comeback from the top placed Blenheim side.

Elsewhere, Nelson got its season back on track with a crushing win over Renwick. Wanderers also keep its playoff hopes alive with a 33-27 win over East Coast while Stoke hammered Moutere and Central led the way for Marlborough clubs edging Kahurangi.
